Our sexual attitudes and beliefs are crucial to our sexual health and choices. The beliefs, attitudes, and values you have towards sex, influence your behavior.
You may not have even thought about what your beliefs and values are around sex. And, to be honest, that is common, considering that we’re not taught to think critically about these things in sex education.Not only is it worth considering these things in the present, but it’s important to consider the past development of these attitudes and beliefs as well. While I find it an important exercise for individuals in terms of healing and self-knowledge, it’s also interesting to explore how communities developed attitudes and beliefs collectively.
I really wanted to understand the On Top community’s sexual attitudes and development, so I took my curiosity over to the ‘Gram.
Over a few weeks, I took some polls on the major areas that influence us. Check below for the stats and some responses I received. 1000’s of people responded and many of us have had similar experiences. I wish I could share everyone’s responses!
