When we merely consider the physical aspect of sex, we’re missing out on so much. Sex is soulful. There is so much power in our sexuality. While many have grown up with shameful messages around solo sex, it’s such a powerful act. It’s loving, sacred, and empowering. I read 100’s of positive responses to “describe solo sex in one word”, it’s okay to not be into it, but keep in mind it’s not just a feel-good thing physically (which is a plus), but it can guide you to wholeness, healing, joy, and freedom. Yes, literally just being intimate with yourself. It’s a form of care. And you’re worth it. Please see resources below for further exploration.
