If reading the word (SEX) makes you feel awkward or confused, curious, or excited, you’re not alone. it’s pretty complex, and there is always something new to learn about it.
Sex is natural and a good thing. Boundaries are key to keeping it healthy; it should be consensual, should feel good, and safer sex is a must. Sex is normal and we want to make talking about it normal.
Sex isn’t just a physical thing though, (more than just skin on skin and fun) check out the home page to get the gist…
In this post we’re going to try to define sex. ‘Try’ because it is a very broad term… and guess what it’s not just P to V!!
Sex is basically any activity with another person that involves the penis, vagina, or bum!
Basically, sex is…
Sexual Intercourse - penetration to vagina or bum with penis or sex toy ( we will talk more about toys later)
Oral sex - mouth to genitals
Some consider fingering, masturbation, mutual masturbation to be sex too.
Many people wonder what is considered “going all the way” and if it’s just intercourse. All sex, even oral and anal is real sex, so we can say that any sexual behaviors that result in arousal, stimulation and gratification can be defined as sex.
There isn’t really a “right” way to do it either, and it’s not all fireworks … so don’t expect it to be like the movies or like what your friends say. Sex is different between any two people, it can be awkward and messy, but that’s part of the experience.
Do you wonder why people have sex? it’s for pleasure and connection.
